Privacy Policy

Q-Car ("we", "us") is a digital car-show social platform. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

  • Account info: username, email, password (hashed), and optionally your sex and home city.
  • Content: photos, videos, captions, build details, event posts, crew posts.
  • Usage: who scans your QR, who likes your builds, basic counters.
  • Location: if you grant it, your approximate location for Local Events; never shared with other users at fine granularity.

How we use it

To run the app: show you nearby events, rank Local/Lady's Garage of the Month, notify you of crew invites, display your builds to others.

What we DON'T do

We don't sell your data. We don't show third-party ads. We don't share your personal information with brokers. Q-Car may offer optional sponsor links (auto-parts partners) that earn affiliate commission; those clicks are anonymous from our side.

Your data, your control

You can edit your profile fields any time. You can delete your account from Account Settings → Danger Zone. Deletion removes your builds, crews you own, posts, events, and profile permanently.

Reporting content

If you see content that violates our community guidelines, tap the 🚩 Report button on the build or post. We review reports within 48 hours.
